Storm, Huckleberry Plains, Sugar Valley, Little Sandy, and Glover Place. He meets with Bill Ringer and Ezra Kelly and visits the land of Butch Bennett and Charlie Bryte. He illustrates some of his entries, and makes detailed notes of the terrain and weather. He keeps statistics on each dog.
